Looking at the gentle hills of the DOCG Valdobbiadene district, not far from Venice, it is remarkable how the sinuous lines of vineyards mark the boundary between earth and sky. There is great anticipation for the release of the first bottles of the 2007 vintage Castello Banfi Brunello di Montalcino and the estate’s top cru, Poggio alle Mura.
