Christchurch South Island presented the 2013 Best Of Wine Tourism awards on December 8 at a ceremony held during the New World Food and Wine Festival in Christchurch’s Hagley Park. The festival returned for a second year to celebrate the wineries of the South Island region, and their status as New Zealand's representative on the prestigious Great Wine Capitals Global Network. More than 9000 people attended the event.

Leading wine and tourism professionals from around the world attended the event.
