DWWA judge profile: Anne Krebiehl MW

Anne Krebiehl MW is a judge at the at the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA)

German-born but London-based, Anne Krebiehl MW is a freelance wine writer and lecturer. Her work has been published widely in both trade and consumer publications, including World of Fine Wine, Harpers Wine & Spirit and The Drinks Business. She is the contributing editor for Austria and England for the US Wine Enthusiast, lectures, particularly on German wine, consults for London restaurants and translates wine-related texts. Krebiehl holds a degree in english literature from Birkbeck College in London. She completed her WSET Diploma in 2010 and was admitted to the Institute of Masters of Wine in September 2014, with her dissertation exploring the subject of “The Future of Premium German Pinot Noir”. Krebiehl has helped to harvest and make wine in New Zealand, Germany and Piedmont. Krebiehl was first a DWWA judge in 2014.
