A lawyer by training, Poh Tiong Ch’ng published the world’s first Bordeaux guide in Chinese in 2000.
He is a regular contributor to World of Fine Wine, Aussino Wine Life, academieduvinlibrary.com as well as the Hugh Johnson Pocket Wine Book contributing on China and Japan.
Apart from being the publisher and writer for www.chngpohtiong.com and www.100chineserestaurant.com and a senior judge in several wine and spirit competitions, he is also the Chairman of Koshu Expert Committee of Japan and Co Chair of Young Talent Escoffier Culinary Competition Asia Pacific.
For more than 20 years, he has been consultant to FairPrice and Finest, Singapore’s largest supermarket chain and largest retailer in wine.
