many potential readers – who wants to
read about someone else tucking in and
generally living it up in Provence?
Restaurant critic Mike Aalders has an
endorsement from Peter Mayle on the
cover, and lively drawings by Nick Wadley
inside, but it isn’t enough to make you
want to read more about the selfconfessed
‘trencherman par excellence’.
