Tasting: UK Sparkling

Fresh, characterful and well-defined. Lovely balance with a gentle fade, juicy acidity. Not much autolysis, but has the structure and concentration of fruit that should develop in bottle quite nicely.

Deep yellow gold. Good mousse clings around rim. A touch of brett on the nose? Certainly there are some signs of complexity here, and it is not all about the fruit, which is quite really quite restrained, but the balance is excellent.
