Are you seeking international recognition for your wine? If so, make sure you enter the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA), the world’s largest and most influential wine competition in the world.
Now in its 10th consecutive year, the DWWA remains internationally respected for providing a comprehensive and authoritative source of recommendations for everyone, from wine beginners to the most experienced enthusiasts. In 2012, we received a record-breaking 14,120 wine entries.
Wines can be awarded Commended, Bronze, Silver or Gold medals during the first round of judging. Gold medal wines are taken through to the second stage of judging, where they will be considered for a Regional Trophy, a significant achievement showcasing the best wines within a particular region. The final stage of judging is the International Trophy tasting for all Regional Trophy wines – the ultimate accolade for a wine.
A competition is only as good as the judges and thanks to a rigorous evaluation of each and every wine, producers can have complete confidence that their wine is being given the best chance to win an award – so make sure you enter and have your wines judged by the world’s leading wine experts.
