Nick Clarke MW joined Hedges & Butler in 1960 rising successfully to the position of Wine Buyer for Bass Charrington. He passed his Master of Wine exams in 1971 and in 1978 joined Henry C Collison, where he became Managing Director in 1981. He then moved to O W Loeb as a Director where he specialised in wine from Alsace among other regions. He currently sources new agencies for Dreyfus Ashby & Co.
