Katie began her wine career in 2005 helping out Peter Hall at English winery Breaky Bottom. She then spent six months working in wineries in Canada and Australia. On her return to the UK in 2006, Katie joined Majestic Wine, before taking the trainee sommelier position at Chez Bruce in 2007 under the stewardship of fellow Decanter judge Terry Threlfall. After a six month stint at Mayfair's The Square restaurant, Katie returned to Chez Bruce in March 2010 as Head Sommelier where she currently works.
