Berry Bros & Rudd has opened a second Hong Kong shop, seven years after its first – and 11 years after entering the marketing with a wine club and website.

Berrys’ Fine Wine Reserve occupies about 1,000 square feet within the new Alfred Dunhill complex – known as the Hong Kong Home of Alfred Dunhill – in the Prince's Building in Central, the city's financial district.

The shop features about 400 wines starting at £40, housed in refrigerated glass walls that adjoin the neighbouring restaurant Alfie's (where the wine can be drunk corkage-free). The latter is run in partnership with KEE, a network of members-only venues.

‘We're supplying about half the restaurant's wine,’ Nick Pegna, managing director of Berry Bros in Hong Kong, told decanter.com.

‘We'll also offer clients the option of storing some bottles on site.’

The other Berry Bros shop opened in Lee Gardens, Causeway Bay in 2003.
