Constellation Wines Australia is to close a second winery following its failure to sell.

The Stonehaven winery at Padthaway in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia will be closed at the end of November.

Stonehaven was one of 3 wineries and 23 vineyards, collectively worth around $200 million, which were put on the market in August last year as part of a restructure - which has resulted in 350 jobs being cut.

The 115 year old Leasingham winery in South Australia was closed earlier this year after failing to find a buyer.

A Constellation spokesperson today said that both wineries and the remaining 10 vineyards were still for sale.

So far, only the Goundrey winery in Western Australia, and 13 vineyard sites have been sold.
