Taylor's had already acquired some of the São Xisto land in 1993 and had planted vineyards which are now coming on stream.
So pleased were Taylor's with the results that they decided to purchase the rest of the property.
Their plans are to create an additional 25 ha of vineyard, the produce of which will be vinified at Quinta de Vargellas, and increase production there over the next ten years.
