More top names sign up for Decanter Shanghai Fine Wine Encounter

More top names appearing at Decanter's first event in China have been released this week, as the number of celebrated wine estates that have signed up for the inaugural Decanter Shanghai Fine Wine Encounter continues to grow.

Dozens of top wine names from around the world will now attend the event in the Ritz-Carlton in Pudong, Shanghai on 29 November.

Classed growths from Bordeaux, including Haut-Bailly, Calon Segur and Pichon Lalande are on the exhibitors list.

There is also Louis Jadot from Burgundy, Ceretto from Piedmont in Italy, Inglenook from California, d’Arenberg from Australia and Cheval des Andes from Argentina, to name just a few of the estates that will appear.

More estates are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Profiles of producers can be viewed in both Simplified Chinese and English on the dedicated Decanter Shanghai Fine Wine Encounter website, with tickets for the event set to go on sale shortly.

As previously announced, directors of Bordeax first growths Chateaux Lafite, Latour, Margaux, Haut-Brion and Mouton Rothschild will appear together in person on one stage to conduct a tasting of their legendary wines.

One of Italy’s most celebrated stars, Angelo Gaja, will also conduct a masterclass. Two of Spain’s most revered wineries, Vega Sicilia and Pingus, will also be showing their wines.
