Cloudy Bay winemaker Tim Heath gives Decanter.com an exclusive look at the first vintage of the winery's new Te Wahi 2010 Pinot Noir from Centra Otago in New Zealand.

Tim, who has been at Cloudy Bay for eight years, details the reasons behind purchasing three new plots in the southernmost wine making region of the country and how Te Wahi differes from Cloudy Bay's original Pinot Noir.

Cloudy Bay have produced a thousand cases of Te Wahi 2010 which will be officially lunched and released on sale in Spring 2013.
