About Champagnes Piper-Heidsieck & Charles Heidsieck
Piper-Heidsieck and Charles Heidsieck have rich histories in their own right. The audacious Piper-Heidsieck was founded in 1785 by Florens-Louis Heidsieck whilst the aristocratic Charles Heidsieck was found in 1851 by Charles Camille Heidsieck. These two great names in Champagne were in united in 1988 by the Remy Cointreau group and benefit from the expertise of a single winemaker, the celebrated R�gis Camus. London�s prestigious International Wine Challenge has awarded R�gis Camus the Sparkling Winemaker of the Year Trophy in 2004, 2007 and 2008.
