Domaine Bertrand Bachelet, Maranges, Burgundy, France, 2012

Tasted by: Christelle Guibert
It’s not exactly a household name, but Maranges is relatively good value for Burgundy, and this is an excellent example. Made by a talented young producer, it has a lovely perfume of wild raspberry, while the palate shows classic Pinot Noir flavours along with layers of complexity and a vibrant finish.
