Fine, floral nose and beautifully clear on the palate, though still quite tight with lots of character. Stays true to its very good reputation.

This estate lies in Arsac, quite far from the vast gravel beds of the Margaux plateau, yet the wines have always been reliable and enjoyable. Black fruit on a rich, savoury nose. Broad, plump and full palate with considerable drive, that’s countered by ample spice and pep. Long, balanced finish.
