Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Solid blackberry nose, rather subdued. Rich and succulent, concentrated, a modern-style Medoc with plenty of oak and very ripe fruit. Good acidity gives it vigour and pungency, and this should age well. Good length.

Dark nose, some spice and liquorice, fine balance. Good length. Youthful but has potential.

Deep concentrated red, good berry fruit and good concentration, oak blended in, good solid Medoc, already quite forward, but enough structure to hold it.
