Les Charmes

Grape Variety:Chardonnay
Drink:2012 - 2018

Product:

Albert Bichot, Les Charmes, Meursault 1er Cru, Burgundy, 2010

Producer:

Stephen Brook

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Apple and banana on the nose, which lacks zest. Good attack, concentrated, lively green apple fruit, perkier than the nose if not very complex. Clean and spicy and quite long.

Gearoid Devaney

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Lovely flinty smoke and stony minerals on the nose. The palate is intense in flavour, with ripe peach, honeysuckle, limestone minerals and nice acid, with a long finish.

Steven Spurrier

Tasting: Meursault 1er Cru 2010

Rather honeyed and quite ripe nose, a very clear and straightforward expression. Nice succulence on the palate, good balance and length, not overly complex, but a good wine.
