Olivier Leflaive, Meursault, 1er Cru Perrières, 2010

92
Tasted by: Stephen Brook, Gearoid Devaney MS, Steven Spurrier
Drinking Window: 2013 - 2022
Nose is open and smoky, with yellow spices and ripe apricot fruit. Oak beautifully blended in, full of vibrancy and almost grippy fruit. Pungent, direct and a bit one-dimensional now, but has a lively citrus persistence that bodes well. Elegant and long.
