Product:

Château Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac, Bordeaux, France 2010

Producer:

Château Mouton Rothschild 2010

At 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and only 6% Merlot (Mouton’s famed gravel soils are not the friendliest of media to Merlot in hot years) a deep, refined but powerful Mouton, verging on the austere currently. Pure raspberry and blackcurrant on the nose and palate, complicated by oriental spices all supported by polished if youthfully chewy tannins.
