Excellent bright red fruits on the nose, just ripe on the spectrum, fresh rather than overdone. A classic traditional style. Hervé Romart consultant here. 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc, no second label here, one third new oak, but leaves the press wine in vat for the whole ageing process before blending it in at end (ie no press here at the moment, as he believes it gives a more accurate primeur sample as to how the wine will be at the end of the ageing process). Very soft medium drinking, lovely balance, great value.
