Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010

Lush, vibrant blackberry and blueberry nose. Fine attack, sleek and silky, concentrated, elegant acidity, lively aftertaste with plenty of black pepper on the finish. Classic Crozes, not too weighty or extracted but stylish and long.

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010

Very deep colour and rich red fruit nose expressive of raspberry coulis, vanillin and spice. Palate is finely balanced with sweet fruit allowed full glorious expression behind the weight of extract and ripe tannins. a seductive and very appealing example for the more hedonistic members of the congregation.

John Livingstone-Learmonth

Tasting: Crozes-Hermitage 2010

Reduction in a typical southern zone Crozes aroma, blackberry fruit with a drift of flowers across it, a light note of fennel or liquorice. Alert black fruit with stylish juice and flow drives the attack. This is tasty. Good mix of liquorice and light chocolate, coffee on the late stages. Good typicity of terroir good energy and life in this. Crystalline finale, clear.
