Le Cellier Savoyard, Apremont, Savoie, France, 2015

From the picturesque Savoie region, this is made from the local Jacquere grape. An initial prickle of fizz is swiftly replaced with floral and crisp apple aromas. Light and elegant with floral and green almond characters repeated on the palate. Pleasant and enjoyable and with only 11.5% alcohol, it’s very light and drinkable.
