Casa Girelli, Teroldego Rotaliano, Trentino-Alto Adige, 2015

Tasted by: Christelle Guibert
While many producers in Trentino are replacing local varieties with international ones, some are championing the indigenous Teroldego grape. What’s not to like about this great-value wine? It’s packed with crunchy red cherry fruit and some savoury notes on a palate that is lively and textured with light yet grippy tannins. It leaves you nicely refreshed and wanting another glass.
