Andrew Jefford

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Clean and fresh; rather neutral. Light, fresh redcurrant fruits. A little true ripeness evident (well done for getting it up to 13.5%), and that redcurrant strawberry fruit is poised and delicious, though it’s a shame it isn’t as apparent on the nose as it is on the palate. It will need early drinking, but plenty to enjoy if you hurry.

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Opulent, savoury nose. Great texture and depth. Silky finish, lovely tight tannins which help hold up this wine, juicy and aromatic, a very classy wine.

Alessandro Marchesan

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Strawberries and vanilla, a very delicate, perfumed nose. Elegant and light with velvety palate and medium-long simple aftertaste.
