Paddy Borthwick, Sauvignon Blanc, Wairarapa, 2014

90
Tasted by: Christelle Guibert
From a sheep and cattle farming family, Paddy Borthwick had another ambition and went on to study oenology in Australia. After gaining experience around the world, he returned home in 1996 and made his first vintage in 1999. Very refreshing style of Sauvignon opening up to the right intensity of gooseberry and grapefruit flavours. Tangy and vibrant palate resulting in a wine with great finesse and class.
