Frenchie Bar à Vins

This is perfect for those who have experienced firsthand how hard it is to get a table at Frenchie’s (the little bistro of Grégory Marchand, a pupil of Jamie Oliver). This offshoot is right across the street. They don’t take reservations here either. But if you arrive early you should have no trouble finding a spot at the bar. The wine menu of more than 60 wines is updated regularly, and most can be ordered by the bottle or glass. Prices are reasonable. A value-for-money, must-taste place.

Frenchie Bar à Vins, 5–6 rue du Nil, 75002. Tel: + 33(0)1 40 39 96 19;
