DWWA 2013 New Zealand Judging Panel
A New Zealand native, Melanie Brown completed her Chef Apprenticeship in Christchurch, before moving to the UK in 2005 to follow her passion for food and restaurants. After pursuing Peter Gordon for long enough that he eventually offered her a job in his kitchen, Melanie joined the team at The Providores and Tapa Room in London in 2006. However, it wasn't until she made the transition to Front of House that Melanie discovered her love of New Zealand wine, and soon after she took over managing the restaurant’s wine list. Since 2009, Melanie has transformed the list to feature the largest selection of premium New Zealand wines in Europe.
