Decanter magazine, the leading consumer wine magazine, is looking for candidates to provide support to the Decanter World Wine Awards.

The work will take place in our warehouse in Kent from Saturday 10 to Thursday 15 April 2010. We will provide accommodation and full catering. We hire a house for your accommodation (shared rooms) and a chef who will cook food during your stay.

The evenings are fun and lively with good wine and food. Payment is fixed daily rate of £120. There is excellent team spirit and much of the work will involve checking labels on bottles of wine and doing manual and sometimes laborious tasks. The work is hard and involves long hours starting 8.00am in the warehouse.

The ideal candidates will be passionate about wine, energetic and hard-working. They will have a very good wine knowledge (diploma level), meticulous attention to detail and work well as part of a team and under their own initiative. This is a great opportunity for WSET diploma students.
