Sebastian Zuccardi is bringing a new determination to explore Argentina´s many microclimate and soils.
As an agronomist, he is busy developing new vineyards in the sought-after mountain region of Uco Valley, while adding to the existing clay soil vineyard in Maipú and the desert soils of their Santa Rosa vineyard. His aim is to source the best grapes from each region.
The Uco Valley vineyards are located in a flood plain, produced by the action of glaciers and water from the Andean rivers. This is why we can find large rock deposits in the areas of high altitude, this tends to decrease as you descend in altitude.
Zuccardi´s innovative spirit and passion is what drives our search for the highest quality possible from the soil.
Our 2010 Zuccardi Q Malbec is the result of blending Malbec grapes coming from La Consulta, Vista Flores and Agrelo regions in Mendoza, creating a wine with great structure, elegance, fresh aromas, dark fruit and pepper notes.
