Decanter and WaterAid

Decanter has partnered with WaterAid as it's official charity since 2005 with over £300,000 raised through Decanter's 'Wine into Water' initiative.

The initiative sees unopened bottles of wine entered into the Decanter World Wine Awards auctioned each year at Chrsitie's with all proceeds going towards WaterAid's work around the globe.

This year Sarah Kemp, Decanter's publishing director, visited Zambia to see firsthand the improvements in water, hygeine and sanitation that have been possible thanks to Decanter's fundraising efforts.

This year's charity auction at Christie's raised £40,000.
