Michael Broadbent MW is a British wine critic, writer, auctioneer and Decanter columnist.

Following a career with John Harvey and Sons of Bristol, Michael Broadbent became a director of the Wine Department at Christie’s, co-founding the Christie's Wine Course with Steven Spurrier in 1982.

As well as being an author of several books, Broadbent is Decanter magazine’s longest-serving monthly columnist. His first column appeared in Decanter in the February issue, 1977, entitled Michael Broadbent's Tasting Notes. His 400th monthly column appeared in the September 2011 issue.
