North Hampshire Wine Society

The North Hampshire Wine Society is a friendly and informal group of wine enthusiasts and is based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. We were formed in 1979 and meet in one of the town's oldest buildings on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7.45pm for an 8.00pm start.

Most evenings a guest speaker, who may be a wine merchant, an enthusiast or one of our own members, extols the virtues of a region, a grape variety, a producer or some other wine related theme.

There is no pressure to purchase any wine but a small charge, approx. £12, is made to cover costs; speaker, wines, room, etc. We have a broad range of ages so you won't feel out of place.
