Region 'Oregon Pinot Noir' - Year 1990
|drink soon||A reduced harvest of good quality|
The cold winter conditions of 1989 carried over into early spring, and for the third consecutive year, the set was small and the crop was reduced. Both spring and summer were on the cool side. The fall remained dry, mild, with cool nighttime temperatures. Small crop but of high quality fruit. The only general problem area related to over-cropping which diluted flavors.
