Finca La Pampa, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mendoza, Argentina, 2016

This Cabernet is made by Jose Galante, once the winemaker at respected Argentinian estate, Catena. This has rich, smoky hedgerow fruit aromas, while in the mouth it's intense, with a woody framework and tannins leading into plummy blackcurrant fruit and liquorice. A good food wine.
