This Cabernet dominant blend was aged in a mixture of French and American barriques and hogsheads before bottling. adding spice and structure to the rich fruit. The palate displays dense dark fruit with moderately grippy tannins. Juicy black fruits and savoury star anise lead into a spicy finish with a creamy texture. A weighty wine that will do well with rich meat dishes.
