Château Saint-Pierre, St-Julien, 4ème Cru Classé, 2012

Fine expression of Cabernet fruit, both spicy and ripe and already rounded and quite smooth, good fragrance and depth a vigourous, characterful St Julien.

Textbook ‘cedary’ St-Julien backed up by full plummy fruit. A very well-made, enjoyable wine. The Martin family, owners since 1982, have made major investment in quality here, which has paid off.
