This Merlot-dominant St-Émilion features bold flavours of hedgerow fruit with spice and vanilla. It's youthful, yet soft from the offset - although there is some tannic structure there which should aid its longevity. A lovely ripe cherry finish. A good choice for the table over Christmas.
