Grown in the foothills of Mt Kayagatake, the grapes for this wine were harvested in late September by hand, then fermented and aged in stainless steel. There's that characteristic citrus and stone fruit Koshu character evident, with a hint of lees and creamed rice followed by a beautifully vibrant lime zest acidity which keeps it moving along the long finish. Tank sample.
