Te Haupapa, Lot Series Pinot Noir, Central Otago, 2017

A silky Pinot with slightly sweet, ripe cherry and redcurrant fruit, with a touch of Otago meatiness in the background. There's some sweet spice and chocolate on the finish from the oak - nice flavour, just a shame that it's slightly lacking in power or elegance.
