Stellenrust is one of South Africa's largest family owned wine estates. The grapes from this wine are from bush vines aged between 32 and 41 years old. Hand harvested and fermented with wild yeasts, the result is a vibrant wine with a green apple and citrus character. The acidity is really bright, almost tart, but is somewhat balanced by richer flavours of honey and baked apples on the finish. Definitely one to drink with food.

Ripe melon, zesty lime and a small touch of polished oak on the nose. There's lovely interplay between the dose of residual sugar and the crunchy acidity, which really pushes the long, firm and fruity finish.
