Dorrance, Cuvée Anais Chardonnay, Western Cape, 2013

82
Tasted by: Tim Atkin MW, John Hoskins MW, Greg Sherwood MW
(at Decanter's April 2017 issue South African Chardonnay over £7.99 Tasting, 30 Nov 2016)
Drinking Window: 2017 - 2017
Rich, slightly evolved nose of butterscotch and molasses. Waxy, toasty and honeyed. The palate is rich and punchy, with sweet and sour plums, racy acids, but a fair amount of evolution too. Too much bitter oak.
