Nuits-St-Georges 2009: panel tasting results
The results of the Nuits-St-Georges 2009, a much vaunted vintage, were somewhat disappointing. The panel tasters remarked some inconsistencies throughout the selection, giving no Decanter Awards. However, they noted some potential by highly recommending 14 wines with a four star rating. See all the 14 wines here...

I agree with LSEd. I tasted the Domaine Remoriquet 2009s in Sept. 2009 and again in bottle in Sept. 2010, finding beautiful fruit, depth and complexity in an expressive, forward mode that suggests enjoyment while one waits on the 2005s.

Interesting notes. May I inquire if the panel reviewed the wines of Robert Chevillon who has I think 8 1er Ccru wines from NSG and to my mind is one of the most consistent makers from the commune. His Cailles, Vaucrains and Les st George are top cuvees. Regards

as long as you overlook Remoriquet, you're missing out on some tremendous NSG.
Cheers
