Languedoc reds: panel tasting results
Château du Prieuré des Mourgues, Grande Réserve, St-Chinian 2007
Meat, leather, cassis, dry spice and deeply extracted fruit aroma. Full, youthful and rich, this has lovely warm and spicy fruit. A very solid wine with a coffee-like flavour. Oak tannins are slightly prominent, but don’t spoil the overall enjoyment. 17pts/20
