Weinviertel DAC (13,356 ha): Grüner Veltliner

Austria’s first DAC, created in  2003. An extensive region with soil  variation. In general the Grüner s are rounded, with peach fruit, and  white and green pepper notes. Reserve styles are full-bodied and riper, some with oak influence.
