Rias Baixas Albarino: panel tasting results
Castrobrey, Castro Valdés, Sin Palabras, Rias Baixas, Galicia, 2010, Spain
Ferran Centelles: Slightly creamy character for an Albariño grape variety. Ripe stone fruit character with a fresh acidity coming through. The wine lacks of a slightly longer finish. 16
John Radford: Quite rich but rather 'savoury' nose - hint of cheese? Good complex structure, 'savoury' fruit and a warm, long finish - maturity and development, but perhaps not very commercial? 17
Sarah Jane Evans MW: Creamy, leesy notes, lemon curd, jasmine, floral. Palate is mineral, clean, stony, fresh, with only a faint undercurrent of citrus fruit. Restrained and elegant. 15.5
