Rias Baixas Albarino: panel tasting results
Vilarvin, Valtea, Rias Baixas, Galicia, 2010, Spain
Ferran Centelles: Aromas of evolution in the nose, the mouth feel is balance but slightly plane, lacking of a deeper consistency of flavour. 15
John Radford: Warm, ripe, hint of caramel. Good, bright, 'busy' fruit. Lots of spice and rich fruit on the mid, carries through to the finish, nicely balanced, good length. 18
Sarah Jane Evans MW: Confit lemon and orange blossom aroma. Bold palate: rich with notes of ginger and cinnamon, lemon marmalade, bitter oranges. Finishes with a delicately chalky bite. 16
