Lush plum and black cherry nose, with a good dose of new oak. Spicy notes from the oak and firm but ripe tannins dominate the palate. Fine weight of fruit to counter the youthful rawness. Tannins still present but will provide back-up to good, classic evolution. 17.25pts/20
