An impressive tasting to say the least, with our judges seduced by Western elegance, particularly in the younger wines, as well as by savoury, mature Cabernets from South Australia. See the top 49 wines including 7 Outstanding Australian Cabernets here...

Magnificent nose: fresh, fine, mellow, exotic spice and cigar box. A savoury, almost European balance of dark berry fruits underscored by notes of soy and balsam. Eight years old and still brooding away. Very persistent, with real richness and finesse and a soft, espresso finish.
